Certified Nurse MidwifeThis role involves working in-house for 24-hour shifts, primarily focused on deliveries, under a contract that lasts 12 weeks with the possibility of extension based on organizational needs.The typical schedule consists of 7-24 hour shifts per month. Shifts may occasionally include Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays; however, weekend coverage may be provided by locums or full-time family practice providers, resulting in variable weekend availability. Personnel will always have time off after on-call duties. There are opportunities to work two shifts with a minimum of 24 hours between shifts.The midwives will be working in various settings, including birthing centers, patients' homes, and hospital environments. A designated call room is available for staff use.Currently, the midwives are experiencing an average of 5-6 births per day, with expectations for increased volume in conjunction with a new hospital opening in the coming months.
